Open daily (10 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday), the mall aims to be a welcoming community destination.

The Mesabi Humane Society has stopped accepting animals from Virginia because there is no new payment agreement, and city officials are looking for short-term animal shelter alternatives.
Mayor Larry Cuffe said residents are fostering pets while officials work on a more affordable long-term plan.
