Chum is collecting warm outerwear and essential supplies as dangerously low temperatures hit families this weekend.

The warming center, usually open at night, will run 24 hours when temps drop below zero — volunteers urge donations and thank Duluth residents for their continued support.

Warrior Brewing Company, a veteran-owned business, will close its West Duluth taproom following farewell events including line dancing on Jan.
