After being cancelled in 2024 and postponed in 2025, the 41st John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon kicked off on Sunday at Billy’s Bar in Duluth with 58 mushers starting a 300-mile race.
The first team is expected to reach Grand Portage Lodge and Casino on Tuesday.
