Local nurses in Duluth organized a Nightingale Walk on Tuesday to honor their colleague, Alex Pretti, gathering at Minnesota Power plaza and walking along the lake path while a volunteer Nurse Honor Guard led a brief ceremony with readings and the laying of a white rose.

Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth will be sold to longtime manager Sarah Brown as owners Angel and Bob Dobrow retire to focus on family time.

Brown brings 20 years of bookstore experience + four years managing Zenith and is set to continue the store's legacy in the community.
