  • Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth unveiled its Generation 3 Vision Jet Monday in a press release, featuring a reimagined interior with premium materials, expanded seating for six and enhanced safety including ATC Datalink and brighter wingtips. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Alternative education programs in Minnesota now serve over 124,000 students and are highlighted at the MAAP Conference at DECC in Duluth today (Feb. 4–6). Educators such as Nathan Glockle and Bradley Jensen share new strategies like smaller class sizes and flexible schedules to help struggling learners.  WDIO

  • Downtown Duluth held its 41st annual meeting at the DECC on Wednesday, where business owners, community members & city leaders reviewed cleanup progress and planned new downtown investments. They outlined improved public safety measures and housing strategies for the future.  WDIO

HEALTH NEWS

  • Aspirus St. Luke's launched a new ECMO program to offer lifesaving support for patients with heart and lung failure. The program, funded by the St. Luke's Foundation plus the Northland Foundation and staffed by ICU and ED teams, improves response times and care coordination.  WDIO
  • A new map from Major Academic Centers and ABC News shows that some Minnesota zip codes are at higher risk for measles outbreaks if travel brings the virus, though only one case has been reported so far — KSTP health expert Dr. Archelle Georgiou says caution is advised.  KSTP
