- ➤ 7 West Taphouse held a fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 7 (open until 10 p.m.) to donate proceeds from beer sales and cash contributions for Hermantown explosion victims after a tragedy that claimed two lives and displaced eight. WDIO
- ➤ Community members learned ice safety tips last Saturday at an event hosted by the St. Louis River Alliance and Minnesota DNR, where experts explained how to check ice thickness and use safety equipment (a reminder that ice is never 100% safe). WDIO
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Warrior Brewing held its final pour this weekend and closed its Lincoln Park taproom after five years of serving local drinkers. The veteran-owned brewery paused production and will distribute its beer at select liquor stores while planning a new location (details to be announced soon). WDIO
