At a Duluth forum, Natalie Baker said the Minnesota Prison Doula Project will stop programming tomorrow as its main grant ended, risking vital birth support & parenting education for incarcerated parents.
Donations of funds and supplies are needed to help keep the service running.
Northland Adaptive Recreation ended its ski season at Giants Ridge in Biwabik as it held its final lesson, offering adaptive skiing instruction with personalized support (11 participants and 30 volunteers).
Families from nearby areas enjoyed the experience that built confidence and brought smiles to many.
