- ➤ Make-a-Wish Minnesota celebrated nearly 45 years of granting wishes to critically ill kids with a ribbon cutting at Essentia Health (St. Mary’s Medical Center) in Duluth on Thursday morning. The nonprofit is seeking donors and volunteers to help reach more eligible children. WDIO

- ➤ Two teams from local nonprofit 3D Robotics Duluth earned spots at international robotics events after a strong showing at the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship in February at Burnsville High School. Devildogs will represent Minnesota in Eindhoven from June 16–20 and Rogue Cats will compete in Houston (donations help offset travel costs). WDIO

- ➤ The City of Duluth will deploy its full fleet of snowplows during evening rush hour and again at 2 a.m. as heavy snow and 40 mph winds are expected tonight; residents are urged to avoid driving and give operators room to work while managing illegally parked vehicles. WDIO
- ➤ Duluth Parks and Recreation has posted a draft plan for Park Point Recreation Area for public review online and at City Hall until Friday, Mar. 27 — the city will use public comments to shape improvements for the park's natural, cultural and recreational resources. WDIO
- ➤ Hermantown Mayor Wayne Boucher said yesterday he supports the planned Google data center on a 200-acre site near local landmarks (Stokke’s Meat Market) and noted updated environmental reviews and power grid upgrades will back the $650 million project to boost jobs. BusinessNorth
