Pulsar Helium Inc. has completed its seven successful appraisal wells near Babbitt in northeastern Minnesota to finish the exploratory drilling phase — flow testing is set to begin in March or early April as the company defines the scale of what may be the state’s first commercial helium operation on private land.

Dr. Brenda Kelly was named president of the College of St. Scholastica on March 26, coming from Gustavus Adolphus College where she served as Provost and Dean.

St. Louis County will host two listening sessions to gather ideas on using opioid remediation funds for criminal justice support.

Duluth city leaders are conducting a comprehensive land use study through July to shape the future of the 270-acre Lester Park Golf Course for housing, recreation, and public green space.
