  • On Sunday evening, Duluth Police arrested a burglary suspect after he broke into a house on West 6th Street and barricaded himself in a residence on North Central Avenue, with officers using drone surveillance — and K9 Vili to track him down and recover stolen items.  WDIO

HEALTH NEWS

  • Essentia Health-Virginia is planning a $13 million expansion of its emergency department that will add five exam rooms (four for behavioral health patients), new technology and enhanced security. Construction will start later this year and be complete in late 2026 with funding from Essentia Health, its regional foundation, Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board and donors.  BusinessNorth
