- ➤ Resource Renew secured $49 million in state loans from the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority to fund water upgrades in greater Duluth — including pipe rehabilitation, wastewater treatment improvements, and a four-year Clarifier Improvements Project. WDIO
- ➤ Sen. Tina Smith is urging the Senate to reject a measure that would let copper-nickel mining start in the Boundary Waters — an action that risks local lakes, wildlife and treaty rights. A vote is expected within days. WDIO

- ➤ Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital Occupational Therapy hired Occupational Therapist Samantha Parmeter, OTD to strengthen patient care. Parmeter earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks) and brings a range of skills from acute care, outpatient and transitional settings.
