The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland held its 17th gala fundraiser at Greysolon Ballroom Thursday evening to raise funds for youth programs (supporting clubs in Duluth, Superior, Grand Rapids, and Hibbing) that serve local children.
Pope Design Group announced Sara Rapp as Northern Minnesota Market Lead; she will manage Duluth operations using her 14 years of design experience (including work with local institutions) to expand the firm’s services in the community.
Lakes 10 Cinema on Stebner Road in Hermantown will close for the final time on Sunday, April 19.
Movie fans can visit Duluth Cinema at 300 Harbor Drive for alternative screening options.
St. Louis County held a second listening session in Duluth on Thursday afternoon — community members gave input on how to invest opioid funds, with proposals requested by mid-2026 and awards scheduled for 2027.
