- ➤ Duluth East High School students held the inaugural Swing into Spring Festival Sunday at Peace United Church, offering live music, face painting, crafts and a silent auction. Proceeds (benefiting The Damiano Center, Depot Foundation, Animal Allies and League of Women Voters) will support local nonprofits. WDIO
- ➤ The Duluth Public Library has launched National Library Week fundraising with a $25,000 donation match and an extra $5,000 bonus if 100 donors contribute. The campaign runs Apr. 19-Apr. 25 and includes community events such as story time at Great Lakes Aquarium (free admission on the first day). WDIO
- ➤ North St. Louis County 4-H is recognizing its 41 local volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 19-25, with efforts highlighting their roles in youth development programs across the region.
