Superior’s Earth Rider Brewery won a gold medal for its North Tower Stout in the oatmeal stout category on May 1 at the World Beer Cup in Indianapolis—this is the brewery’s third medal in the category, with gold in 2022 and bronze in 2018.

The Duluth Airport Authority will begin phase five of the Taxiway A reconstruction project on May 5 which requires two closures—one of 24 hours and one of 60 hours—to complete essential pavement work and boost airfield efficiency.

Construction will pause from July 3 to July 7 for the Air Show while United Airlines and Delta plan operations and flight disruptions are not expected.
