Minnesota Point 50 hosted its first Chalk-It-Up event on Saturday at Park Point, where community members decorated the recreation lane reserved for pedestrians and cyclists from May 1 to Oct.
31. The effort aimed to slow traffic and remind drivers to keep speeds safe + promote local stewardship.
🌲 Environment
Ashland native Robin Greenfield is on day 205 of a one-year foraging challenge and led 70 people on a Saturday walk at Superior School Forest to teach wild food identification (including mint and pine).
He will offer more foraging events in Minneapolis and on the west coast this summer.
