- ➤ On Wednesday, Miner's Super One Foods donated $24,450 to Animal Allies in Duluth from a fundraising campaign held April 24th to May 11th — funds that help care for over 1,000 animals yearly. WDIO

- ➤ The Bug Ball gala — set for May 30 at Prøve Gallery — will raise $5,000 to help cover rent and general costs. Tickets cost $40 for full access with food and raffle or $15 for live music, which features Cigarette Picnic, Willem Dafoe Fanclub, Midnight Kissfight, and Between Howls. Perfect Duluth Day
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Duluth builders are keeping busy with robust projects including Blatnik Bridge replacement, a new airport control tower, training centers at the airpark and Hermantown, and renewable energy installations. - ➤ With the Stewart Trail Fire fully contained as of May 20, the Minnesota DNR is taking over command from MNICS and the Two Harbors Volunteer Fire Department+local agencies after a multi-day effort.
