Deputy Executive Director Ethan Roberts of the Jewish Community Relations Council said in an interview that enhanced security at synagogues & schools helps the community remain safe despite recent violence at a museum in Washington, D.C.
Data shows that religious bias crimes against Jews have increased in our state.
🌲 Environment
The Metropolitan Mosquito Control District will treat 5,000 acres in the coming days with MetaLarv sprayed from six helicopters to curb a possible quadruple rise in the aggressive cattail mosquito this summer.
The spray—dropping about three pounds per acre into waterways and swamps—disrupts the mosquito lifecycle.
