On Sunday, the Bob Dylan Porch Birthday Party celebrated his 85th birthday at his childhood home in Duluth with community members singing and sharing cake, while Mayor Roger Reinert noted Dylan earned a Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 (a highlight of Duluth Dylan Fest).
The Duluth Huskies held a free season kickoff event at Wade Stadium (with fans getting a behind-the-scenes look) ahead of today's away game against Wisconsin's La Crosse Loggers and their first home game on May 29.
Team owner Mike Rosenzweig said scouts will be watching local talent closely.
