- ➤ Lorraine Combs and Ronnie Williams were charged Tuesday in federal court with one count of conspiracy to engage in voter registration fraud after they allegedly used fake personal details to complete registration forms that a group (Foundation 1) then sent to county election offices. KSTP

- ➤ The Duluth Seaway Port Authority posted a score of 3.25 on the Green Marine 2024 Performance Report, ranking second among U.S. Great Lakes ports and seventh among Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System ports. It boosted green upgrades with a climate action plan for net-zero emissions by 2050 (focusing on energy efficiency and zero-emission vehicles at Rice’s Point) and has joined voluntary environmental programs since 2007 (aiming to meet stricter greenhouse gas targets). - ➤ Duluth City Councilor Mike Mayou announced he will step down from the council at the end of June after closing on his family’s home sale and purchase so his wife and growing family can move to a more accessible residence.
