- ➤ State employees represented by MAPE held a rally Monday morning outside the MnDOT Central Office on Mesaba Avenue in Duluth to protest proposed SEGIP healthcare changes that could raise out-of-pocket costs by $2,500 to $4,500 per year by January 2027 — union leader Ariel Johnson warned rising costs might force workers to leave state jobs. - ➤ Essentia Health has hired Samuel Moose as director of tribal government relations to serve as the main link between the health system and tribal governments in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
