The GND Development Alliance will host its second annual Summer Jam on Saturday, July 27 at the Gary-New Duluth Rec Center, with skateboarders like Nicole Hause and Mason Silva and live music by Duluth Transit Authority.

It will offer a bounce house, petting zoo, food trucks and games for kids.

Today in downtown Duluth, the city hosted its inaugural First Street Friday block party with food trucks, dance performances and history tours to boost community collaboration — the event is set to return on July 31 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
