Volunteers spent over 1,000 hours preparing for Duluth’s Rhubarb Festival on Saturday morning at Asbury United Methodist Church, where 5,000 pounds of rhubarb went into pies, crisps, and scones for the Chum food shelf fundraiser.

Lisa Forsell (bake sale lead) said extra rhubarb will be used for juice next year.

GND Development Alliance held its second Summer Jam at the GND Rec Center today, drawing families and visitors from across the Northland.
