- ➤ Essentia Health reached a tentative contract with acute care nurses from Duluth and Superior that averted a strike planned for next week, offering a 9.75% wage increase over three years and a one-year freeze on staffing ratio cuts — members will vote on ratification soon. However, nurses at several other Essentia facilities, including ambulatory staff and advanced practice providers, will strike as negotiations continue. Superior Telegram
