Officials extended Minnesota’s peacetime emergency for wildfires in northern counties — a 30-day extension that lets state and local teams coordinate a response amid challenging conditions.

State officials announced on Wednesday that the enrollment pause for new Medicaid providers in 12 high-risk services will continue for at least six more months, extending the freeze that began Jan.
