Darrius Lamar Plummer was sentenced Tuesday by a Duluth court to 18 years and 9 months for fatally stabbing 26-year-old Chantel Moose outside a bar on West 1st Street at 2:00 a.m. on April 12, 2024.

On Monday, July 21, the Duluth City Council talked about changing city rules to create a transportation commission — and they tabled the plan after hearing resident support.
