A Duluth man was shot in the leg on August 7 while driving with his wife and two children on I-35 to a water park — police later located three adult males target shooting on private property 1500ft from the interstate who are cooperating with the investigation.
After Friday morning’s storm, Lake Country Power warned Duluth residents to stop using chainsaws near downed trees—dangerous work that should be left to trained line crews in the Big Sandy Lake area near McGregor.
The company said that clearing trees near power lines puts people and restoration efforts at risk.
Gabby and Bobbi Jean Gidley delivered quadruplets at Essentia-St. Mary's last week; it is the first quadruplet birth at the hospital since 1999.
