John Moder, a veteran & Director of Education at Seven Stars Ranch, serves community by guiding veterans & first responders through horseback experiences that promote leadership and healing.
Later this month, the ranch will partner with the University of Wisconsin-Superior women's soccer team for a horse-based leadership clinic in Duluth.

Brenda Kelly, the new president of College of St. Scholastica, said the school is expanding partnerships with local health agencies and business leaders to widen clinical training and leadership programs.
She is focused on boosting brand awareness and addressing enrollment challenges as she settles into her new Hermantown home.

The City of Duluth closed a section of West Skyline Parkway for drainage pipe replacement; work is expected to last about two weeks.
Westbound drivers detour on Mesaba Avenue, Fourth Street and Tenth Avenue West, while eastbound drivers follow West Skyline Parkway, Tenth Avenue West, Fourth Street and Mesaba Avenue.

Aspirus St. Luke's celebrated its $1.2M clinic revitalization yesterday at its Duluth location.
The upgrade includes new exam rooms and a state-of-the-art audiology booth (with 3D technology for children) to enhance patient care.
📰 Real Estate
The Lakeview, a new mixed-use complex with 176 residential units, a 34-room hotel, and retail and dining spaces, opened Wednesday in downtown Duluth with a ribbon cutting.
The nearly $100 million development — one of the city’s largest private investments — is designed to boost housing and hospitality downtown.
