The 12th Annual Operation K-9 event raised funds and united 17 K-9 teams—including four new units—with community supporters at the old University track Thursday night to back police canine programs.
Chief Mike Ceynowa said the event showed how officers work together.
🏛️ Government
Officials confirmed that Winter Street will serve as the main detour from the Blatnik Bridge to the Bong Bridge as road resurfacing and railroad crossing upgrades start this September.
The bridge closure is expected to begin in Feb/March — design work is already underway.
🏥 Health
Hundreds gathered Thursday evening at Centricity Stadium in Hermantown for the Duluth Walk for Epilepsy, hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota to raise awareness and funds for support programs.
The event featured family-friendly activities + entertainment for all.
