Little Free Pantry 218 in Chisholm started two months ago by Noble Lee Flack and now provides free food and toiletries for locals facing food insecurity.
Located at 12 NW 2nd St., it offers supplies around the clock as an easy-access alternative to food shelves + libraries.
🎭 Culture
Corey Scott, CEO of Midwest Dairy, said the Minnesota State Fair this week will feature dairy events (including the Princess Kay of the Milky Way coronation and Dairy Goodness Bar’s Flavor of the Fair) that invite visitors to celebrate local traditions.
🏛️ Government
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will work on Highway 53 in Hermantown between Haines Road and Midway Road starting Sunday night with lane closures from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for six nights, weather permitting.
Drivers should slow down as signals change to a four-way flashing stop in the work zone.
