- ➤ Pulsar Helium signed a Limited Notice to Proceed with Chart Industries to start engineering work and equipment buying for its planned plant that will recover helium and capture carbon dioxide at the Topaz project near Babbitt in northeastern Minnesota— the company found a high-grade helium resource from its Jetstream wells on private land and will drill up to ten more wells as it awaits changes in state gas extraction rules. - ➤ MnDOT reported that the Twin Ports Interchange Project in Duluth’s Lincoln Park is nearly finished as two segments are complete and traffic will shift next week on Garfield Avenue + Highway 53 will open by the end of October. They also said state and federal permits are in progress for the $1.8 billion Blatnik Bridge replacement, with design proposals expected in October and the current bridge set to close for up to five years starting early 2027.
