- ➤ Canal Park hosted a fundraiser — the second annual 'Sweat for Vets' event organized by the Veterans Resilience Project — that featured pop-up saunas and ice baths where participants took cold plunges in Lake Superior and a silent auction raised funds for EMDR therapy supporting veterans and their spouses. - ➤ Trick-or-treaters dressed in costumes and rode golf carts at the 6th Annual Fairway to Scareway event at Pike Lake Golf and Beach Club. Fifteen local businesses sponsored the free event — giving out candy and offering a fire truck tour where firefighters explained their work. WDIO
