Chum, the largest emergency shelter north of the Twin Cities, announced it received a $2.5 million grant from the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund—its biggest private gift ever.
The nonprofit will use the funds over the next five years to expand its Emergency Family Shelter and support services in Duluth to help ensure no child sleeps outdoors.
