With below-zero temperatures predicted this weekend, the Damiano Center and Chum warming center are accepting donations of warm clothes and winter gear to help over 100 people nightly; items like coats, gloves & mittens can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lake Superior College held two nursing pinning ceremonies Wednesday night as nearly double the size of last year's graduating class celebrated.

One graduate will soon start working at St. Luke’s, and school leaders stressed the need to keep skilled nurses in the community.
