Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland offer after school programs so students from Piedmont, Lincoln Park Middle and Denfeld High can explore esports, arts and crafts at clubhouses in Lincoln Park and Gary New Duluth — a space to build life skills and enjoy fun activities.
Randy Dupuis from Garage on Wheels said that cold weather in Duluth reduces battery power and thickens fluids, so residents should check car systems (including tire pressure and brakes) and warm up their vehicles briefly before driving.
Chester Bowl opened its ski hill on Sunday in Duluth, welcoming locals back for an affordable winter of skiing and snowboarding while offering free group lessons, volunteer support, and over $20,000 in scholarships to help families participate.
