- ➤ Ben Vaske and Violet Sigsworth won the Fitger’s 5K in downtown Duluth on Saturday as Vaske recorded the fastest men’s time since 2003 and Sigsworth became the youngest-ever women’s champion. The race had 1,480 registrants including 395 kids and emphasized eco-friendly practices ahead of Earth Day. WDIO
